The China-Britain Business Council (CBBC) has just published its China Business Handbook 2016; a guide to help UK companies of all sizes and sectors succeed in the Chinese market.
As a longstanding CBBC member company, Backbone IT Group was delighted to be one of the contributing specialists offering some insight into digital marketing in China, with advice on domains and hosting, web design, SEO and social media.
The handbook draws on the experience and expertise of more than 20 UK companies operating successfully in China, covering crucial areas such as exporting to China, E-commerce, free trade zones, tax system, customs procedures, marketing, HR and employment law compliance, due diligence, intellectual property and business disputes.
Stephen Phillips, CBBC's chief executive said, "A product of CBBC's expertise and our knowledge-base of nearly 1,000 members, the China Business Handbook 2016 provides comprehensive advice for anyone wanting to know about the ever-expanding opportunities in China. Beyond this handbook, the wide variety of practical support and guidance we offer to British companies is only an email or telephone call away, be it to the UK or to any of our offices across China."
The China Business Handbook 2016 is open to all to download, without charge, to encourage more companies to engage with China. Readers can access the full guide or download one of the 25 plus chapters relevant to their needs.
With the high-profile visit of President Xi to the UK in October and the visit of the Chancellor to China the previous month, the momentum for business cooperation is strong - and UK companies must take advantage now.
Stephen Phillips added: "CBBC's China Business Handbook has been launched to capture the attention generated by recent high-profile visits. Irrespective of sector or size, every company in the UK must now consider what China means for their business."
